So beautiful! I'm envious of your collection, and how tidy it all is, haha. Great job on all those orchids, they look very happy.

Thanks

(And like the others- mmm, I think the manager is a bit creepy&#128540

I have moved some of the tomatoes, into a GH on a farm. I needed my dining table back. Kept some of them though, going outside later.

I'm gonna let you in on a secret. Lol, well, they are tools. My plants. I need them for other reasons aswell. They make my mind relax. And I use them as metaphors, my mind working deeper into another thing. They add depth, and a new angle to understanding things.

Oh, yeah- and its fun. I enjoy taking care of them. And afterwards I sit down with my mac, and I write. They make my writing better. Teamwork.

The story I'm gonna share is from the process. How I do it, and why. We all have our reasons. But whatever the reason is, we all have in common that we like this odd plant. Orchids- fascinating plants.

I like them. I needed to go deeper, I needed more plants. Different plants. Hard to get here, so I was thrilled when I realized they had a nursery not that far away. More beauties. And more tools. More metaphors. More knowledge, I had to read about all these beautiful new plants. And in that deep state of relaxing, my mind is floating- like putting puzzles together. Its fun, and also kinda hard. Get really tired. Wrote 15 pages in four hours yesterday.
I just love to learn, its so fun it makes me giggle. (Listen to Richard P. Feynman if you wanna listen to just how fun it is. He is pretty cool&#128526

So there ya go. I have an agreement with my plants.

The "primadonna" is the second plant from right. Lol, gonna tell how that repot was done in a new comment. 😂 Its not something done very fast, its more like this crazy lady creating small environments for the plant. Not really necessary, but something I do because I see things in pictures, its easier when I visualize something. I need time to work in the background. My mind does that. So I keep talking to myself out loud. Or to the plant. While I'm thinking about what I've read about it. I make sure I know why I am using whatever I decided to use, and why I do it- conditions, environment. I answers those questions, and then see differences between them. And the way I solve questions like that sometimes makes me solve other questions. Or- rather answering them in a different way.

😂
And now I'm thinking: yeah, they see its not hard writing those 15 pages, you just never stop, do you…? *sigh*
😜

Well. Sometimes I try to keep the writing in my mac, and not all over the place.
In daytime I actually like sitting at the dining table and write, but in the evening/night I prefer the couch. I always prefer the couch when I'm reading something.

They are growing☺️

And a little fellow hiding in the corner😎

Cornings violet, not the easiest to capture on photo. Smells lovely, kinda weird- spicy/lemon/parfume/something.

This smells amazing- fresh and light.

This got a flower after repotting. Now its making two new ones. And a new spike. Love, love, love the psychopsis

Me, and some orchids, look at that catasetum (no worries though, I have it in an ordinary pot hidden in the glass vase)

(Yeah, I like to listen to music while tending the plants&#128526

And roots, always roots- not that long since I repotted…

Home after vacation, and my orchids were really happy.

This is gonna be my first paphiopedilum flower (hopefully, dont want it to blast)

Psychopsis is flowering, soon to be two flowers. And making a new spike, and a growth- so it didnt get held back by the repotting in april

Got a little mishap going on there

This was in flower when I got home.

This is growing, have no idea how the flower look. Phalaenopsis Uni Leiden

And the phal hieroglyphica is spiking. Will post when it flowers.

Catasetum doing okay
Big one

Smaller ones

And rooooooots 😎

Keiki is growing

Lol, so happy to be home and watching them again😎😂

(Yeah, I do make a mess in the kitchen when watering them&#128540
