Default Exotic Orchids of Maui

I have to do some household chores before I post pictures, but I am so blown away that I wanted to post this right now.

I have become a little obsessed with miniature rupicolous Laelias/Cattleyas as of late and was searching for them for sale online. They don't seem to be very popular, but I came across Exotic Orchids of Maui and they had quite a few and pretty darn cheap even though I figured they were seedlings. The only problem was the minimum order amount. It wasn't much of a problem, I though about it over night and couldn't stop while at work (anyone else have that problem ) and pulled the trigger. Whatever, it's just money, right?

I am glad I did. I just received my order. The plants were a PITA to get out of the box, which is good because that means they were packed with thoughtfulness and care.

On to the plants., just WOW. Most of them are bigger than I though, much bigger. They are all in great shape, nearly every one has new growth and all have good roots.

They also sent me a free "thank you" plant, Laelia anceps, which is young but is also in good health.

Overall, I won't ever hesitate to buy from Exotic Orchids of Maui again. What a great experience!

Default Pics!

Here are all my little guys (minus the anceps because it's potted in bark and I didn't want to make a mess yet)

They've been soaking so I can pot them up tonight in aircone pots and hydroballs.
