Members of our orchid society just received our group order from H&R. Really nice healthy plants! We got a nice discount because a good number of us ordered a fair number of plants. One of our club members arranges a group order every time
H&R puts out a new list.
A lot of plants arrived in flower or bud by surprise, inlcuding five of mine: Dendrobium Little Atro x atroviolaceum, Den. Micro Chip, Den. Super Ise, Den. unicum and Encyclia bractescens x Boricana. I saw lots of Dendrobium flowers in other people's boxes at the plant pickup feeding frenzy.
My Dendrobium Samarai (stratiotes x antennatum), in a 3.25" / 8cm pot, supposedly near blooming size, has not only flowered in the past, but has tiny bumps on some of the canes. I also ordered seedlings of other very large growing Dendrobium sections Latouria, Phalaenanthe and Spatulatum hybrids because I have room.
I will be working with them now so won't have time to take photos, but I will before long.
