I recently bought a few orchids on EBay from this vendor, and each one was a most pleasant surprise. First off their packing is such a pita to get into. I love it! You could practically play a game of football with one of their boxes without damaging the contents. I got three Cattleya hybrids that were listed as blooming size. The Iwanagara Apple Blossom 'Hihimanu' arrived in spike and the Blc Tsiku Orpheus 'Fu Cai' BM/POC has gone into sheath since I got it. But the most surprising was the Blc Hawaiian Passion 'Lake View Pink Lip'. A plant with 11 pseudobulbs and 2 leads, one nearing maturity and another with a good start. Blooming size indeed!

I've had good luck with Kawamoto Orchids. They're known for having good plants and good customer service.

Every plant I have bought from Kawamoto Orchids has been superbly healthy and exceptional value for the $$. Many flowering sized Cattleyas they offer are actually blooming size, and most of them sell for under $45, and thats shipping included! Five stars for Kawamoto!

2 thumbs up for Kawamoto!! (If I had more hands, I'd give them more thumbs up)

Awesome plants and I never hesitate to buy when they have something that needs to come live w/me.

In the several years that I've been buying from them, only once did I have a problem and they went above and beyond to make it right. I only mention this in order to point out that if the rare issue does pop up...they will always resolve it and they will do so quickly.

Agreed...one of the plants I bought from them a couple of years ago was significantly larger than advertised.

I've purchased orchids from Kawamoto's several times and always been delighted. Their packaging is so meticulous, they could ship a human infant and it would arrive in perfect health.

Their customer service is great, too. I corresponded with Keil several times before my first order and he was prompt and gracious in answering questions. Whenever I need to send a special gift, I choose Kawamato
