Sorry! I didn't mean to step on any toes. Someone asked "Anyone ever ordered from [Aloha Orchid Nursery]?" and I replied. Now I'm wondering why the answer to a posted question would be deleted.

Here's the short version: I received an order from them. It was nothing like what was advertised. Details are on my website -- World Class Stupid: Mahehalani is Full of the Island Spirit! -- or email me for more information.

Dorothy, thank you for your reply. Yes, with care my orchids should be fine. However, they look nothing like their photo, and Aloha Orchid refuses to honor their guarantee.

It really bugs me when someone joins the forum just to bash someone. I think we need to have a minimum post count to be able to post something negative. I'd say 100 posts. This way we can get to know the person a little bit more. Their post will have a bit more weight then too. For all I know, RomanHans could be an alias for Aloha's competition. I'm therefore removing the post.

MODS: Due to the seriousness and impact of negative posts, in the future, feel free to remove any negative feedback from any users that have <100 posts.

PS: RomanHans - nothing personal btw

Thanks very much, CB! Honestly, I'm a nice guy -- with lots of experience on boards like these, so I'll post about my orchid collection in the right place. (It's a short, sad story, punctuated very rarely with flowers.)

Thanks again!

Hey do they sell flasks? I am considering going to Hawaii next year but I can only bring flasks back to this country.

I might send them an email and ask.

Hi Justin,

I ordered 2 cats from Aloha June this year and they came to me in spike. They were both in great shape. I missed most of the bloom one one but expect it to be better the second time around. Both plants are doing well to date. I bought Pot. Sweet Sugar and LC Hwa Yuan Beauty Spice Girl (this one bloomed). Hope you like your newbies.

I have ordered several orchids from Aloha and have never been disappointed. They do a great job packing the plants and always send me great healthy specimens. Sometimes I am pleasantly surprised to get a blooming orchid when I didn't specify one. Timely shipping.
