Default Waldor Orchids, Linwood New Jersey

For those of you in Jersey or anyone who wants to take a nice trip, you should check this place out. They were right around the corner from me before I moved. Anyway, they have a great selection of all types of orchids. Check out their website: www.waldor.com

I have bought many nice plants from them. They have a few sales each year where everything is 20-25% off.

Best,

Justin

Barb,

I moved about 30 miles north of that area, but plan on moving back down there due to a career change. I can't wait!

Hi:

Walter Off is someone that I have known since the 70's. Waldor has always been at the top of the industry. His family has been in the industry for decades. He had an Uncle whose business is still next door (I think) that has raised Cattleya cut flowers probably for over 50 years.

If you were lucky enough to see Waldor's exhibition at the Philadelphia flower show 2 years ago, you had a treat.

They are at every major orchid show in the East, and quite a few nationwide.

Their greenhouses make a nice Sunday trip.

Frank

I posted a photo of Waldor's recent display at the Longwood Gardens International Orchid Show (May 12-15, 2006) on my "Gallery Page" - Anyara. Walt will be having a summer sale coming up soon - end of June usually. A great place to visit and a great man!
