I have no problem with sharing the 'chids with my friends...but that's not the same as buying new ones

I'm going to keep trying but...all bets are off

I think I'm glad I live in a place that has cold winters. It forces me to limit my purchases to what I can find locally....which isn't much! LOL

Default I still probably end up buying too many

from one place or another. The nearest places for me to buy orchids is either St. Louis, at Oak Hill or in Indiana. There are no places that I am aware of that are any closer to me than that. Whenever we go to a show, I try to set limits, but something always happens. The last show I went to, I walked out of that place with 10 plants! And my wife felt like

I just want to add my kudos to Oak Hill. I ordered 3 Phals on Thursday, they shipped on Monday and I got them today! All under $50!! The plants are beautiful and 2 of the 3 I ordered are in spike. I've ordered supplies from them before and was very happy but the plants are terrific. They definately move to the top of my vendor list.

"And I SWEAR, not buying any more orchids this year. I still have about 6 coming to me from ebay and 5 that our office building plant lady is giving to me once the blooms die off so that's IT!!!" Solana

...and if we believe that, you have some swampland you want to talk to us about, right? I have said "No more orchids! This is enough." I don't believe it anymore though. It is always just a couple more. LOL
