Thumbs up Sky Island Orchids

I would like to relay my positive experience with Sky Island Orchids.
Linda and Bill replied to my e-mailed questions on availability promptly. When I called to place an order (their on-line shop was not working), I was able to ask more questions about my selections. I purchased 3 Phals (Goldberry X Taisuco Day, Taisuco GLory X Taisuco Day, and Taisuco Glory X Maki Watanabe). I wanted to get a harlequin, but Linda was "honest" in telling me that the particular cross was not producing a lot of harlequins, and in her words were "not that pretty"...I laughed and told her it was quite refreshing for her honesty. Total was $40...10 for each plant (smallest was 10" leaf span!)...shipping $10 (bare-root.....very healthy!!), and packed really well.
So it was a positive experience!

I have one of theirs. Phal. Night Leopard. It's not a real wild harlequin but I like it.

Bill and Linda are good people and quite enthusiastic about their breeding programs. Bill has many interesting phalaenopsis crosses at various stages of growth. If you want some different breeding lines in phals, it's a good place to go!

I too have phals from Sky Island orchids, both harlequins. I had the pleasure of meeting them at the Oregon Orchid Society. They have beautiful phals and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again!

Thank you! !!! They had some multiflora seedlings that sounded great, and before I could order them, they disappeared. Thanks again.
