The only one that comes to mind is Rod McClelland, and they specialize in cymbidiums.

Here are a few in no particular order:
Golden Gate Orchids - San Francisco - (415)467-3737
Hanging Gardens, Pacifica, (open house this weekend) - (415)305-8355
Petite Plaisance, Valley Ford (Wine Country), species specialists - (707)876-3496
White Oak Orchids, Pacifica - (650)355-8767

All of these growers have two things in common: They are all both knowledgeable and likeable.

It is always best to call first. Many of the very best growers require appointments. If I had to choose just one, I would go to Golden Gate. Tom Perlite, the owner, is one of the finest growers anywhere.
