I saw Greenman had one. My collection is so small still I really don't have anything to trade yet.

Say, on the violacea cross isn't violacea var. Borneo now known as bellina? So would the cross really be violacea x bellina? It's all soooo confusing.

It's funny how long my list is growing.....daily it seems. You guys are a bad influence on me. Last weekend I went to Lowes and bought a nice white metal shelf with 5 shelves. I put it in our bedroom in the bay window which faces south. I can control the light with blinds. I moved all my warm growers in there out of the guest bedroom. Figured when we have guests they probably won't appreciate me shlepping orchids in and out of their room for watering. They'd probably also like to be able to close the blinds at night! The really interesing thing is that the RH in our room is about 10% higher than it is in the guest bedroom. Maybe because the master bath is in close proximity. All that steam from the shower. Anyway, now I have more room for light/warm lovers.

So the plot thickens? Now "we" have taken over the bedroom? What's next, the garage, where we keep the car? (Bet you've heard that b4, eh?

LOL Ross, we were just talking about that last week weren't we? No chance of me getting the garage though. My husband has been a really good sport so far. He doesn't know yet he's going to be unpacking my new orchids from Hauserman.

Terri - I bet you have been wanting to clean out the closet of yours .. .. and set up some nice grow lights in there
I have no idea how to figure out taxonomy. That one surely befuddles! Perhaps we will be enlightened by someone of greater knowledge

I am happy to announce the arrival of my Hausermann order and could not be more satisfied.
There plants were well packed, healthy, pestless, and in a good quality mix of bark and sphag moss. One phal that was labeled to be in bud has 2 spikes and the bud is healthy and strong. They also selected another phal for me that is also in spike but was not advertised as such. The third phal is a younger plant than the two adults but is top of the line! I am sure to see a spike sometime soon I shall follow this post with photos of my new babies.
I would and just may order from them again in the near future .. (before the end of July ) with total confidence!
I would not hesitate to purchase from them as this transaction has been a excellent experience!

That's great news, D

Dave, I emailed them today to find out what their shipping schedule is like and they'll be shipping orders next week. They didn't ship this week due to the holiday. I ordered mine on the 3rd.
