Default My first flask delivery from silla-glamour!

I just received my first flask, C Chocolate Drop 'Flash', from one of our OB sponsors silla-glamour. Some of you may have read the thread I posted last week when I was wondering about the long wait for delivery...turns out I was just being impatient Sorry

The flask just arrived and it looks great

Thanks silla

I'll post pictures of the flask later today

Here's the flask...the first pic shows the wrapping it came in along with the crtificate and instructions. It was in a layer of bubble wrap, well taped, then a layer of very heavy paper (almost like cardboard), very well taped and then another layer of bubble wrap....and guess what? Then it was well taped again!!!

They could've dropped this thing from the plane and it might not have broken!

I've never seen a flask before - is it difficult to get them out? They look like the old ship in a bottle conundrum - or do you just break the flask?

The instructions say to gently break the bottom of the bottle with a hammer, rinse the plants and set them up in 1/3 filled pots of sphag (compots).

Looks like you have agar/seedling soup in there!

Hedge, with those type of flasks I think breaking is the only solution. If it had a wider opening it would be possible to tease them out with forceps.
