Nicole their prices are unreal. All the orchids I ordered ranged in price from $10 to $15. I had no idea they would be so big. When they said they were blooming size they were not kidding.....

I will have to redo the GH to make room for these big guys. I will have some questions about this beauties regarding repotting etc. but I will do that on the Den Forum.

Hey, I just got a Carmela order yesterday--14 in all--and during the repotting, I spotted what looked like deceased scale. I'm cleaning mine extra carefully, now. Just a heads up.

14 orchids where yours all large plants? Thanks for the heads up I will check mine as well. You said you are repotting them is that right? Mine are all in smallish pots and appear to be busting out. Should I repot them in same size pot or next size up? I haven't watered them yet will do that in the morning. I am not going to pot these in s/h they will remain in bark for now. Gotta read up on these Dens..

Thanks Again
Sheridan

Mine are all the little 2.5" pots, except for one: Blc. Hawaii Stars 'Pink Lace'. Actually, I did a recount, and there are 13 from Carmela and 4 from Mike's Orchids on Ebay that all arrived on Wednesday:

Blc. Hawaii Stars 'Pink Lace'
Pot. Little Toshie 'Mini Flare'
Hasegawaara Red Stella 'Carmela'
Lc. Mini Purple 'Blue Hawaii'
Blc. Haadyai Delight 'Bangprom Gold'
Lc. Hwa Yuan Beauty 'Spice Girl'
Slc. Smile Again 'Hawaii'
Pot. Michael Edward Boersma 'Carmela'
Lc. Little Oliver 'Tomoko'
Lc. Mini Song 'Petite'
Phal. Maki Watanabe 'Carmela'
Dtps. Amy Louise 'Bright Eyes'
Onc. Twinkle 'Fragrance'
Paph. Via Ojai
Paph (Rosy Dawn x Blanche Sawyer)
Paph. Meditiation
Paph. [(Laser x charlesworthii) x henryanum]

I don't order very often, but go all out when I do. I'm just repotting because my set up is all semi-hydro, and it is easier to convert all newcomers than to wait and have some in this mix and others in that. Also, a nekkid plant is easier to check for hitchhiking critters. Anyway, from what I've read, dendrobiums like being potted fairly tight, so use your own judgment and that of people more expert than I to decide when you will repot your new guys. I only have a few nobile-types and a Proud Appeal 'Ace'. Good luck!

I love their 2 - 2.5" pot seedlings. The plants really take off growing wonderfully - I haven't had that success with other companies little guys. Good haul!!!

I took advantage of their recent sale and got about 12 really nice BS plants (mainly Catts). All are well rooted, nice and clean plants that were well packed and survived shipping to New Hampshire without any problems - even during THIS winter.
