where is that little fainting guy...I'm sorry to see you got something so terrible, Im wondering how much from the time you ordered it to the time you got it, or from the shipping date. Whatever the reason I hope they take care of you.

On 11/2/08 I bought a phal. and an ascocentrum miniatum from this vendor. The phal was a nice plant, but the asco was supposed to be in a 3" pot with 6" leaf spread. I received a 2-1/4" pot with 2 4" leaves and a few 1" leaves growing from the axle--I assume it was a keikei. I've written the seller 2-3 times asking for a replacement or credit for the asco. No reply or acknowledgment of my email. I'll not buy from this vendor again.

Looks like cold damage. I'd guess it was sent without a heat pack either from someplace quite cold or to someplace quite cold. A seller with a brain would know better. I'm very sorry that you got such a bad deal.

How many days did it take for your shipment to get to you? I see the heat packs this seller offers will last for 60 hours...that means you have 2.5 days to get your shipment. What are your temps like where you live? Did you purchase the shipping insurance that would cover loss or damage? The seller has 100% feedback so far, unless others are not letting their voices be heard! I will stay clear of this seller for sure, they don't seem to be customer service oriented!

I hope the best will work out for you! Keep us posted on the end results!

I don't know if it is savable. One of the leaves looks ok still in one of the pictures. Perhaps put it somewhere where it will get good humidity in a shady area for a while to see if it will recover. I had a phal arrive with limp droopy leaves and did this and within days it bounced back for me. You may also need to check the roots right away, if they are rotten then that could be the problem and not cold damage and the seller should cover that!
