Jkelee, this list is great, I'm so glad you posted this. Thank you, my dear!

Green Barn Orchid Supply is my favorite hangout! I'm there, all the time and usually end up shmoozing with Hyla and the gang about everything except orchids. Anything you need, they've got it!

The only 2 vendors I can think of that I like doing business with, here in Florida are

* Baldan Orchids on ebay. I would have submitted their website address but it's temporarily disabled at this time. but they're still around. 20075 SW 180th Ave, Miami, FL 33187, 305-232-8694

* Machiela's Orchids, Machiela's Orchids and also sells a lot on ebay. I usually just go over to his nursery and pick and choose. Great orchids!

Thanks Sue and Sandy!!
I will add them all to my list!!

As for Machiela's, I spoke to them last night via email, and asked if the public can come by from them locally. They said yes, just said call first. They gave me a ph. #, I'm just waiting for an address maybe too.

As I've only bought from them on Ebay.

Jackie, Machiela's is in Boynton Beach, a little far from you? He's usually there Thursday through Sunday in the afternoons. His GH's are on the same property where he lives. Great setup, eh? One of the nicest people you'll ever meet also!

Maybe one of the above vendors has a Dend. that I've been searching the world for. I found it in Hawaii but they want $25 shipping and the plant was listed at $15. I might give in if I run out of choices....

If anyone ever comes across a Dendrobium atroviolaceum "Pygmy' or, Wonder Nishii, please let me know.

Sandy, I've seen (and purchased) Dendrobium atroviolaceum "Pygmy' at many of our local shows.

If I see one at the Tampa show, would you like me to get it for you? Shipping wouldn't be much between your place and mine. If you want to do this, send me a PM with your cell or phone number so I can call from the show to confirm...because I don't need a second one

OMG, Susanne, YES! Thank you soooooooo much for the offer. Those spotted Dends blow me away. I'm going to PM you now but just know, I'll take it! I wish I could get away and go with you and everyone but I'm not a 'free agent' these days. Someday, though.....

I forgot about this one:

Everlast Orchids
Everlast, Inc. - The Best Orchid Wholesale

They are located in Brooksville, on US 41.

Mostly Phals, and sometimes not tagged but usually $5-$10. When we first started going there, most of them were NOIDS but it was okay for a quick fix at 5 bucks. In the past year or so, they've had many more with tags...guess they listened to everybody asking/complaining

*Jackie, this is where I got my Phal Fortune Buddah for $10.00!
I had already chosen 5 or 6 chids and as I was waiting to be checked out, I caught a whiff of something lovely...the Fortune Buddah was a few feet away from me...and of course, got added to the crew
