Thumbs up Orchids Limited AKA orchidweb.com

I just received my first order placed with Orchids Limited, AKA orchidweb.com, and I am very pleased with my purchase. I only got two small plants, Paph. lowii and C. iricolor, but they were some of the best packed plants I’ve ever received.
They came with small bamboo sticks in their pots to prevent leaf breakage, were wrapped in paper and then packed with styrofoam peanuts. Both plants were healthy, with the Paph lowii showing a new leaf forming, and two...count em...two new leads on the C. iricolor.
Now all I have to do is wait...perhaps a long while...for them to bloom. I guess if you want nice orchids and don't want to spend big bucks on blooming size plants, patience is a necessity for an orchid collector! And it’s nice to be able to start with healthy seedlings.

They have nice stuff there, David

Patience is definitely a big part of our obsession It's best to have plants in different stages so there's always something "almost ready"

I have three plants coming from them in the fall so I'm happy to hear the good reports. Thanks.

Great haul! Haven't tried this company, but they certainly seem to have nice stuff.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)
