I have not seen any actual reports of this being an issue. phals are a cesspool of virus but I believe that is due to poor testing (i.e. NO testing) prior to mericloning or stem propping. And the fact that many plants seem perfectly healthy. A lot of neos are grown in Asia and virus is extremely rare to the best of my knowledge. (they are not immune, mind you, and the caveat is that I doubt many test for virus in fukiran).

TMV shouldn't cross-react, at least with Agdia strips according to their validation report: https://d163axztg8am2h.cloudfront.ne...eecc1c106f.pdf

If so there are many orchids in the trade with unrecognized TMV. In years past many people smoked in their greenhouses and handled plants. This certainly infected plants, because it's been demonstrated to occur readily. Now what?
