Default Experiences with Orchid Insanity...

Hello all! Has anyone had much experience with Orchid Insanity? I have found little feedback about them on OB. Are the plants healthy and then grow well? Orchid Insanity is $10 less then another online vendor that I've used. Thank you!

Not a vendor that I've ever heard of. How did you find them or where do they advertise?

I found them looking when I googled ‘oncidium twinkle pink profusion’, I think. I hit ‘images’. Pretty sure you can google them or see them on Amazon. I am weary of anything on Amazon. On Orchid Board, there is only 1 mention of them if you do a search. I am interested in the twinkle and another. They popped up. They get good reviews…on Amazon. Just not sure…

I've purchased once from them a couple of years ago and had no issues. They also sell on Etsy and have good reviews there...

Yes, but it's a different orchid insanity.

I have not bought anything from them on Amazon, but I have purchased plants from them on Ebay with no problems. Plants are small(ish); sort of like what you'd get from Oak Hill back in the day.

Old post but I thought I’d weigh in.

Back in the day I did order an orchid from them on Amazon. I read reviews but kinda fell in love with the picture. Not the wisest idea….

Plant arrived healthy (cymbidium) and has continued to grow. Whatever issues others have had with them on Amazon, I have had none. I rolled the dice and got lucky.

I’ve not ordered from their Etsy store, but my first experience wouldn’t deter me from another purchase.

I haven't ordered from them yet. Some of their plants interested me, but the wording they use in their listings made me think as if they might not be very pleasant people to deal with, so I stayed away.

I don't have any experience dealing with them as far as a problem with my order. I do see the various comments on Amazon, and I wonder.

I reviewed the terms and the condition of the plant in the description carefully prior to ordering. I had a pretty good idea of what I ordered should look like when I received it, and what I received matched the description. And that's what I find is the issue with Amazon: inadequate descriptions. If there's a description that's not clear from the seller, then I just don't buy.

I guess it's a caveat emptor or buyer beware. And if there's a plant you're liking there but can find it elsewhere, that may be a better solution for you. But if you feel that you understand the description given by Orchid Insanity, then go for it with Amazon's return policy. I didn't feel my experience was a poor one. I also have not bought another plant from them.
