Default Orchibias/Orchids for Europe - asking for review & potential group order

A few months ago I stumbled upon a fantastic looking website, Kaufen Sie exklusive Phalaenopsis Orchideen im ORCHIBIAS Online Shop.

It was brand new at the time and they sell pretty expensive plants, so I didn't order anything.

A few months have passed, and I've heard very good things from them. They also seem to have good reviews online.

They have a superb selection of "novelty Phalaenopsis" and a few species, coming from Joseph Wu and Mainshow Orchids, the cream of the crop of Phal breeding.

So the question is, has someone on the forum ordered from them already?

Next question is, does someone want to order from them and share shipping costs?

That would be a really good idea if we were in the same country! I've been eyeing this vendor for quite a while now too.

Well, I thought I posted a review of my order, but apparently forgot.

The experience was great.

I'm not sure how big their business is; I was in contact with one person, Tobias.

He was very pro and helpful, he replied to my questions fast, and sent pics of the plant I was inquiring about.

Regarding shipping, the plant was packed with absolute care, and sent on a Monday to avoid being stuck in a warehouse during the weekend.
The package included a handwritten note and some candies (not super useful to grow orchids but sure is a nice attention).

The plant I (actually my girlfriend got it for me for my birthday, credit is due) got is a Phalaenopsis javanica alba.
It retails for €35. Schwerter has the same plant for €60.

It arrived in pristine condition, in fresh Sphagnum, actively growing roots and a leaf.
It's a very healthy and strong seedling, and has since grown many roots and another leaf, with a spike developing.

Their market is Phal connoisseurs who are willing to spend a lil extra for premium plants, and this test order confirmed they really stand behind their orchids.
10/10 will order again!

I missed your original post back in June... Why are all the best growers in Germany??? Shippings costs stack up quickly after a couple orders from different vendors!

This sounds like I'm exactly their sort of customer, and I immediately went to see their website! Though I'm forcing myself to be in 'look but don't buy anything' mode until I get the latest mealy bug outbreak back under control.

I'm also very pleased to see that they use and sell the same type of LED growlights that I have, so it's nice to know I made a good choice last year, after spending weeks researching lights. And they sell them for much cheaper than what I paid, 20E less per light! If I get more I'm definitely ordering from them instead.

I feel you, they have a speciosa 'Coffee Candy' AM/AOS + SM.1st/WOC 2021 that reaaallyyy tickles my fancy. Self control is hard.
Maybe we should blacklist their shop, our wallets will thank us

For people interested in, the shop will import a bunch of Phal from Taiwan. Preorders are open until September 25th: Preorder - Joseph Wu - Orchibias

They have a lot of unique and cool clones.
RIP bank account.
