Smile in-situ orchids

I randomly found In Situ Orchids (insituorchids) on ebay last week; seems like that’s where he sells his plants. There is a variety of interesting species/hybrids on the site. Jeff, the owner, was readily responsive to my questions about a Stenoglottis longifolia he was offering, and after I placed the order, the plant was delivered quickly (within 1.5-2 days of ordering). The package was well-cushioned and included some cottony padding material to make sure the leaves didn’t get damaged (as well as to prevent the terrestrial medium from spilling out). I’m very glad it arrived in good condition during its growing phase – seems like terrestrials are rather delicate during that phase. Overall, it was a very nice experience!

edit: just included a picture of the plant – what a cutie! I'm very excited for this little guy.

I agree, Jeff is wonderful to work with, and his plants are exceptional - and often very unusual. That baby is just getting started, so timing is excellent. (Stenoglottis longifolia is not nearly as fussy as other terrestrials, but it's a lot easier to ship when leaves are still small.)
