Default Popow Orchids

Wondering if anybody else has any experience with Popow via Ebay? I ordered a collection of Neofinetia; plants were nice, but given the money spent & description of the plants, I was expecting more...i.e. about 1/3 of the plants are not labeled, the packing was shoddy [and this is a generous description...] & communication was non-existent. Anybody else?

Worse than other international vendors?

Do they have an US agent? Or did they ship from a show?

I haven't ordered from them on eBay, but just got two plants from the website, which were superb, and very good value for the money. My only objection was that at the time I ordered, it was not stated when the plants would ship (waited until he came to the US for a show... I would have liked to have known that so that I could make sure that I was home to receive them, it worked out OK) I would certainly order from him again, he has some really interesting things on the website.

As compared to the "usual" international vendors [ie Ecuagenera, Peruflora, Tenshin Gardens...], quality of the plants was better, quality of the shipment packing/communication sub par...the plants looked literally dumped in a box and pit in the mail--there was one piece of bubble wrap in the box and that was it. I could understand this if the plants were bare root and tightly packed, but they are potted... As compared to specialty international vendors [ie Negie, Barampung, Hengduan, etc.] not even close.
I'm guessing that they were plants left over/not picked up from Redland, as they have only straight N. falcata listed on their main site...but I don't know that I would ever order from them again.
