I live in Maine and therefore have a hard time finding the exact plants I want. Thought I would just see if anyone was will to sell and send me some splittings, keikis, seedlings etc. I can only exchange for money because my current collection is mostly seedlings and I have no duplicates.

I am looking for Lycaste aromatica, Phaleanopsis equestris, Stanhopea species, Phal species or Cattleya species plants.

Let me know if you would like to sell!
Thank you

I've got a large c. Mossiae semi alba division that I need to get rid of. It may bloom on the current growths in the spring, or you may have to wait for the next growths coming to mature. Over the last 2 years, I was unable to care for my collection properly, so these new growths are slightly smaller than the previous ones. The pseudo bulbs are pretty shriveled, but it's got a good root system and a good soaking and a bit of low light over a few days should let them plump up a bit.

I grow under lights and they get very hot and over the last few weeks, I've had humidity and heat issues, so they aren't super fat.

Anyway, I don't know what I want for this plant. It's kind of a big division (also repotted this spring). I divided it more than 2 years ago from the mother plant, so it's established etc. I'm thinking 20 plus shipping since it is big but also since it's not in "perfect" health.

Anyway, do tell me about your growing conditions. If you live in Maine, I would think you have some good windows or grow under lights.

Hello there! I too am from Maine. I use to be an active member of OB but it's been a while since I've been on here. Trying to get the feel of everything once again. I live in Rumford Point. I've been growing orchids for about 10 years. I belong to the MEOS but could not attend last winter at all due to weather and distance. I am readying to travel, as I'm retired. I have several orchids that I can not manage any longer and would like to sell. I will even meet you half way so you would not have to pay shipping.
I have a Stanhopea platyceras x self, Dend. antennatun var. 'alba', Angraecum leonis, Darwinara charm 'Blue Star,' Maxillaria variabilis 'Grace,' Maxillaria tenuifolia, Cirrhopetalum rothschildianum 'Red Chimney' FCC/AOS x Bulb. Elizabeth Ann Buckleberry FCC/AOS (I have a rather large one plus have a small one in another pot). In one pot, I have a Restrepia brachypus, Restrepia trichoglossa, small piece of the Cirr/Bulb, and an Epidendrum from Peru. I lack space, they seem to take the same care, so stuck them in a pot and they are now very well established, both Restrepia's have bloomed. That pot goes as is because I don't want to disturb them. All the plants I've mentioned I got in 2007 except for the Dend. and Stanhopea (two years ago). All are in excellent condition. Well, the Max. 'Grace' has a few leaves chewed off from my cats but it still bloomed profusely. If you are interested in any of these, or have any questions, private message me and I will send you pics. I'm seriously not accustomed to this site anymore, so having to learn all over again.
