I've been struggling to bring this plant back to health. It was in very poor, neglected state when given to me. My ministrations have paid off with a small spike of flowers. Hopefully next year's display will be more impressive.

It is not good to have everything one wants...except when it comes to orchids!
It is looking hopeful, keep up the battle and next year it should do better. That's the thing with orchids, if you give them what they want, they will reward you. They are appreciative creatures.
