I got this one mounted Clay so I have no comparison but I'm pretty sure the aerangis species for the most part does better mounted. There are exceptions I think.

I bought my citrata in the pot and the plant was in excellent condition. Allthough I monted it on cork.

FWIW (for what it's worth) I think almost any orchid will do well mounted - with the possible exceptions of vanda, terrestials or bog-origin. Larger growing species will need large mounts, however.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

It's a beauty. I just saw another yesterday on another forum and it was growing in pot and was looking ever so healthy. It was Aerangis luteo-alba var. rhodosticta with a little orange nose on the lip that really stood out.

Great looking plant orcdfrk ...the blooms are so tiny. How many orchids do you have orcdfrk ... 2nd forum I have opened and you "have that one as well" in your gallery ...
