Growing beautiful Vandas is my current obsession! I've had problems in the past but I'm hopeful that someday, mine will look somewhat close to what your look like I have 3 in bud right now and won't stop worrying until those buds actually open into something stunning! I'm a nervous wreck!!!

Vandas would be my current obsession. But since I live in the North East, Phals are my obsession. Anyway, I don't know how many times I've said it, but blue Vandas are amazing!!!!!! Especially yours!

Simply Stunning Peter.

I would love to have a whole room full of blue orchids, and your vanda's look to be a perfect blue!!

I killed my first two vandas so now I am trying the smaller version, ascocentrum and a Trgl. So far they are looking good, have lots of new root growth on both and some little bumps starting to show on the asconcentrum, hope they turn out to be flowers.
If I can grow these, then I will try my hand at vanda's again.

Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the compliments.
Vandas are not that difficult to grow, as long as the environment is right.
Same counts for Ascocenda and Trichoglottis. I grow them all together.
Especially for the blues: Warm during the day and cooler in the nights, with high humidity.

Regards,

Peter
