Gorgeous, love the color. Are all Ascocenda's easy growers or certain ones and how do they grow indoors?

I grew all of the Vandas and Ascocendas in the house before the greenhouse was built . They were in a walk out bay type set up ,windows on angles , mainly they got East , and some South till noon , I did have to use blinds certain times of the year or would get burn . The bad part is the watering (messy ) if you have to be careful of water damage , the area is pretty much water proof I used a pump up sprayer, had Broms. under the plants to catch some of the run off and to raise humidity .
They are like other O kids some are easy and some not and might be all the same kind from the same flask .
I have equestris that are large bloomed early, and some that are runts .I would try one and see if you like growing it .  Thanks for looking . Gin

LOVE those colors!!!!
I have mine in a wooden basket and place them in a plastic humidity tray bowl every night for 15 minutes or so.....

Hummmmm....now Tikva thats a thought  . I am growing indoors in the same conditions you had Gin, bay area nook, my sun through the three windows is east a.m., north and west p.m. with a 1/2 closed blind to prevent burn, but the mess would make me hate them. Will have to give this some thought as I have been monitoring the humidity in my growing area and it is below what I would like it to be, and Tikva you might have the answer I need.  :
Hey Pat if you see this, you grow asc's or vanda's and what are the conditions of yours. I know a lady friend in my complex has a vanda growing in a tree, which works for her, she is downstairs, me would have to climb  a tree to see it out my window and that aint gonna happen...

Cheryl, I grow in my dining room and get less than 1/2 day full sun.... indirect sun all day.... when the weather is nice enough. I use a large plastic planting pot with water in the bottom and a clay pot to sit the Vanda types on top of. I mist when I feel like it and water every day by soaking.... I have 2 vanda types but not pure Vandas and they both are putting out new roots and leaves and seem quite happy...

I am on a quest to MAKE everyone stop saying they can't grow Vanda's GROW THEM!!! Gosh!!! I refuse to buy systems and special water and I am going to make my orchids agree with me. And I am going to buy any darn orchid that I want to own....

Lovely plant. There have been many Vandas shown lately and they all seem so nice, I just wish I could grow Vandas!!! 
No really, I am sure I can grow them. Had an Ascocentrum miniatum for years, it grew and flowered. My conditions were not ideal - light was really not suitable.
Certainly will try some again, 'cause I can grow Vandas!
