Are you sure that Paraphalaenopsis are part of the Vanda Alliance ?

Well, did your ex pour ammonia on your orchids then? She's so evil if she did
I initially thought you meant ammonia aka urine, but then I remembered that it's actually urea. My mind then wandered off to hair dye and bleach haha. Drama much.

I'm actually not 100% sure what alliance they are from. I do know that they were from phals but got separated, and they are normally hybridised with vandas instead of phals. Please do shed some light on this mystery

Now, it wouldn't surprise me to learn that she also urinated on them, but I know for a fact that, yes, she poured ammonia on them.

Paraphals are, indeed, part of the Vanda Alliance. So, for that matter, are Phalaenopsis.

I have no ambition to "shed your light", I think my comment was a question, not an affirmation. So as I do, you have no clue about it. Anyway thanks for such a very interesting and informative discussion... Bye.
