Deflasked Vanda curvifolia
Default Deflasked Vanda curvifolia

I purchased a Vanda curvifolia flask at an orchid show last weekend, and after having it in my care for two days it started to grow a fungus/mold/something terrible. As soon as I saw that I started to deflask immediately.

Everything washed off pretty easily, and after a fungicide bath, I think everything is ok.

I decided to use a large tray used for seedling pots, line the center with spag moss, and the outer trays with water to make it as humid as possible. I've also got a big clear lid I keep on it with a little crack for air movement.

I think they all look pretty happy. I counted around 40
