Default Vanda testacea

I generally don't like yellow, unless it is accompanied by a complementary color. This qualifies! This is another first timer I've had a while (4 years!)

The black circle isn't a hole in the mount but my lens cap for size reference.

Vanda testacea seems quite popular in the States while in Asia, ironically, it is not so common...

You know...

I've always wondered if anyone else notices that many of the Vanda species have anther caps that looks like an insect's head. For me, when I look at the center of a Vanda flower, I see a flying insect.

I think this plant's got a nice yellow, btw. I like the contrast the blue violet gives the flower.
