Default Trichoglottis seidenfadenii (formerly Tri tomentosa)

I bought this in a NJOS auction, about 10 years ago. I grew it from 8" to somewhere between 4' and 5', before it finally graced me with a few flowers late last summer.

Over the winter I chopped it up into 12" pieces. It promptly budded from each unflowered leaf, and the middle stem cuttings are setting 1-2 keikis each.

It has an odd fragrance/smell (I lean towards describing it as the latter), but the flowers are actually quite attractive (about 1.1/2" across).

I am not sure what I did wrong in the past, or right now, other than chopping the plant up. I have grown it in full sun, as well as in the greenhouse, but it just wouldn't bloom here, despite being plenty tall enough.
