Vanda A'Pura (V. tessellata x V. sanderiana) Male
Default Vanda A'Pura (V. tessellata x V. sanderiana)

On the orchid show last weekend I bought this Vanda (along with twelve or thirteen other). Seller told me it was a cross between V. tessellata and V. sanderiana. According to RHS this cross is called Vanda A'Pura. Can you experts agree with that? Pictures are not very good but it's all I have for now. I'll try to take better pictures. It has two keikis, so perhaps I'll have three plants in a nearby future (or two, because one of the keikis is already promised to a friend of mine). Some roots are as thick as my thumb. I've got a cold so I don't smell, but everybody in the show said the smell was marvelous. I wonder if it's true or not.
