I changed seaweed to Maxicrop, a couple of months ago I double dosed all my orchids. I think that will explain this double flower. Only the first bloom was different the rest were normal.

Would you post a photo looking down into the vase? I don't understand what you mean by sold in a vase. Thanks.

Originally, it was in a smaller vase (glass container), but this is it on a bigger scale.

Six years from the last post, still going. It recently got the chop and the top half which had enough roots is in with the base, so a multi stemmed plant now.
