I have been looking for more info, and well, I still suppose that is an Apec Blue, plus I have seen in web pics that my plant share the same long, upright, ribbon-like and overall shape of the leaves in contrast of the arching, curving, slender leaves types that I see in many other fan-like vandas.

But well, after all I´m enjoying a lot my vanda that now is in its glorious moment. By the way, the flowers get bigger not the 2" that I posted with the first flower but 2.5-3".

This year this plant started to bloom earlier than last year that it was in March. Now we have our "strong" winter (15º C - 30º for a few weeks) and blooms with 7 buds (one more than last year) and a magnificent color (deeper), shape, better tessellation and size (4"). I saw that started with two tips (two spikes) but just one developed... ok, no prob :-)

The color is amazing... it´s a pity that the camera didn´t show the real color, it´s more violet... I tried with photoshop to show you the real color, but I couldn´t...

I was thinking that blue vandas are not for my place... no success with my Sansai Blue, but searching info about this one blooming that I think is an Apec Blue (now I´m doubting, well, the color now remind me that I bought it as Pachara Delight) I see that is 1/4 coerulea blood.

The first pic is from 2014 to compare them....

This is the plant six weeks later :-( All started with few yellow spots, I tried with fungicide. Since last year I kept them almost spotless, with very few yellow margins but early February we had night rainings and I suppose dormant fungus spores developed plus some nutritions lacking. Weird... both plants that I cut flowers spikes in the blooming peak developed those full yellow leaves. Why? I'm helping plant to stop keeping the gorgeous spike and save energies. So now I will wait that leaves fall down and start again to grow spotless leaves and more than a year to have healthy fan where spikes grow...

Well... still learning how to grow vandas...

Any comments?

This hybrid seems to be very susceptible to some bacterial/fungal problems. I am have the same issue with mine since it started to keiki and even with topical and systemic fungicide/bactericide regimens it seems to be at the point of no return. The two of the three keiki's left seem to have the only live roots all the mother plants' have shriveled and/or died. I think the only solution for me is to just separate the keikis from the mother plans and let nature take its course.
You can try treating yours and see if it comes back, but it seems that it is highly likely.
