Sorry for late answer. I grow it like Vanda. Mine is mounted but some grow it bare roots and usual watering and fertilizing.

Default origin of your Ascocentrum aurantiacum

Hi. I realize that this is an older thread, but at the time of you posting this thread, you lived in Bangkok. I am Greg, an American living in Chiang Mai.

I just ordered an orange Ascocentrum and I am not sure if I will receive an aurantiacum or a miniatum.

How can I tell the difference?

Is your plant pictured here still alive? I hope so.
