Great looking spike, Philippe. what is the size of your plant? Has it produced any keikis? Although my V. tessellatas and V. merrilliis produce many basal growths, the V. coerulea never has. I'm not certain if this is typical of the species--or perhaps I simply have a stubborn plant. Congratulations on your blooms. They're really pretty.

Very nice indeed! Yes, how big is your Vanda? I have one but not so sure it's blooming size although it seems just as big as another vanda I have that obviously bloomed before.

Some how i feel this photograph doesn't do it much justice......It almost appears as if the blooms are drooping or preparing to drop.

Steve and Paul, I have 2 plants of this alba form of Vanda coerulea. The plant presented here is quite a big plant of about 60 cm/ 23 inches high. This other plant is about half this size.
Usually plants of Vanda coerulea can bloom when even less than 30 cm / 12 inches and there is no exception with V. coerulea alba.
Steve, I do agree with your observation that Vanda coerulea is a species who, when compared with other Vanda species, doesn't produce keikis easily. At least, I do have the same absence of production of keikis with plants of my own collection.
