sorry I have no name for the dark one, It flowers well 2 stems at christmas and 2 now,it looks very mutch like my blue magic ,when that flowers I will check the pictures.
The pale one is ascda kultana X van pure wax. Sorry the picks are not good I have better but the wrong ones got posted.

Well, after reading through this thread I now can't wait for my Vanda babies to be big enough to 'vase up'.
The babies are only about 1-2" tall at the moment; deflasked about 6 months ago now.

Hi there! So I just found this out and I have a Vanda Sansai Blue that has dessicated a bit but with the right culture it can certainly come back to a healthy life. So I put it in a vase after seeing this post that is size appropriate. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS INGENIOUS IDEA!

However I don't know it will work for my plant so we will see. This is my last attempt at trying to grow this plant before I donate it to someone!

I have one question though. Has anyone tried to do this with an orchid that stays outdoors for the summer? My vanda will be coming inside my house in about a month becuase winter is coming so I think for now that wont be an issue but once spring comes it's going outside and I'm afraid this method won't work as well. We had like 3 days straigt of around 95F temperatures this summer in Los Angeles but usually stays in the 80s.

So again let me ask, do you think the method described in the first post by telipogon work for outdoors?? From what I could read it seems telipogon gets "extremely warm temperatures" but I wonder if those temperatures reach uppers 90s ever?

I agree w/ya on that one sista!!
I bought/paid for a HUGE order from him/them, Hundreds $$!! Waited over 1 month for my chids to show up!!

Then they were supposed to be in BUD, NO BUDS ARRIVED!! And all the chids were soooooo dead and dried out, I've never seen anything like it!!!! Learned my lesson the Hard way!!!

Did you buy from him, and get the same results??
