Default Sedirea japonica 'Geisha Girl' CCM/AOS

Just had to post this preview of coming attractions !!! Finally seeing one of the basal keikis putting out a spike the same time as the momma plant !!!

3/16 She's in full bloom just in time for our small local club show. That's the Brookside Gardens Orchid Club show together with the Friends Of Brookside Gardens orchid SALE this weekend the 17th & 18th at the Brookside Gardens visitor center, 1800 Glenallan Ave., Wheaton, MD 20902.

Chryss - That is a kicka** plant. I don't think I have ever seen one grown that well. Good for you. Totally jealous, the citrus rats ate mine last year so I am starting over again.

OUCH !!! You don't mean what the Canadians call "tree rats", do you ? I happen to owe my life to a "tree rat" !!! I also feed them peanuts every day !

No, I'm really referring to a rat. Fairly large, brown in color and loves citrus. I have seen the fruit on a whole tree destroyed by them nibbling on a piece of fruit and then moving on to the next piece. Nasty little critters.
