Four of my vandacious plants are in a vase...I find a large heavy vase that will not topple...put some pebbles at the bottom and line it with a bed of moss...put a bit of water just above the pebbles to wet the moss then put the plant inside and curl the roots in such a way that it is not touching water but can feel the moisture from the moss...spritz it every morning...once a week sprtitz it with seaweed mix...that plant doesnt have a rest period so you continue your regimen all year round

I'm also looking for a perfect way to grow aerangis. I am currently growing my citrata and ellsii in lava rock and plastic net baskets as I do most of my other plants but I haven't had them long enough to know if this makes them happy. I hope you will keep us posted about what you end up doing with your aerangis and how it fares.
