Is the true colour creamy like a lot of photos, or more white like some of them show?

Somewhere in between. The creamy ones were taken without flash, the white ones were with flash.

More grand displays yet to come, this weekend will be the peak flowering, i think.
On Sunday, I shall begin taking photos of Aerides lawrenciae.
