Vanda Kultana Blue

This is our fourth vanda to bloom at work from those plants donated to us by the Thai Ambassidor to Canada...yet another blue one!

The Thai Ambassidor is actually visiting our Botanical garden tomorrow and I will be joining him for dinner. Thursday he will officially unveil our orchid display case. The case is 6' wide, 12' long and 3' high (on a bench 3' off the ground). There is a lattice wall running down the middle where we will hang the vandas and mounted orchids. I'd say we can hold about 100 orchids in total, depending on the size. Meanwhile, only 3 in bloom at the moment! Perhaps by next year it will be more impressive. I'll post pics later on.
