Default Vanda Pachara Delight 'Somsri' GM/JOGA (Karulea x Gordon Dillon)

Here is my recent acquisition. My friends sent me a pic of the plant they saw at the nursery as they visited it. I asked them to get me the BIGGEST ONE they can find or the grower is willing to let go.

TA DAAAAAA

That's an amazing vanda. Most of the Vanda Pachara Delights are frequent bloomers. I have one that's still a seedling but I'm hoping for good things from it. Good luck with yours.

I have a V. Pachara Delight too. Bought it finishing blooming in February and it's juuuuust barely poking up a little spike right now. Can't wait to see those blooms again! Yours looks really healthy! Congrats!

Thank you all for nice compliments. I am not sure why I waited so long to get it, but I am now very happy about the flowers. Frequent bloomer is a plus.

I have one of these in bloom myself that I just bought from Orchidaceae. It was in spike when it arrived 4 weeks ago or so and is just spectacular in bloom!
You did a wonderful job with your camera too in capturing the intense purple of the flowers!
Wonderful!
