Smile A little cutie, Gastrochilus japonicus

First bloom in my care for this little cutie! Got it last September and I was really surprised to see 2 spikes appear at the beginning of the year. The first spike is now blooming. For those of you that remember, this is that plant that I posted about wondering how to straighten out the spike. Originally it was growing towards the mount and I was afraid that it would get jammed in the cork. But with the help of OB I managed to get it completely turned around!

Camille, what type of care are you currently giving it?

I have had mine for about 2 years now, and haven't seen it do much. But I recently decided unmount it (wasn't a painful process, at all) in the hopes that my problem was centered around keeping it too dry

PS beautiful blooms
