Default Renanthera citrina

Here is my first blooming of Renanthera citrina. Plant is only 6" tall and 4" wide. Flower is about 1.5" from top to bottom. Pretty much a warm-intermediate grower.

Very lovely. This is the first time for me to see a miniature Renanthera. Are there many more?

Actually there is no such thing as miniature Renanthera. All Renanthera will grow up to over 3-5' eventually. But some species such as Ren. citrina, bella, mututina, monachica and imschootiana will start to bloom while the plant is still under 6-8" tall while larger species like stonerii, phillipenensis and coccinea will need to be at least over 1-2 feet tall before they start to bloom. They are also a little slower growing than the larger species so they stay a little more compact. But if you given them tropic like condition, they will grow fast and tall.
