Hi Brookpoint, I checked on O. Wiz and wasn't able to find anything under V. Peggy foo...however did find Gordon Dillon (Vanda). A really nice dark purple flowers, not sure if this helps any.

Brookpoint, your plant, Ascda Peggy Foo x V.Gordon Dillon could be a seedling that was flowered and then sold. If it was, it may be near impossible to get another one exactly the same. IF it were a mericlone ( and the cross isn't registered so I can't give you a name to look for ), you will need to check with all the grower/sellers of these plants to try and find another one. Maybe the place you purchased this one.???

The way name tags get abbreviated these days, I suggest that your plant is Ascocenda Peggy Foo 'Red Dragon' x Vanda Gordon Dillon. The plant is registered as Ascocenda Blue Eyes.

The registration was recorded at RHS in Nov 1996 by J & I Selles; the originator (person who actually made the cross) is unknown.

Its deep blue-purple flowers make Ascda. Blue Eyes a 'must have' for many vandaceous collections.

Thank you so much for the info on my Vanda. I am delighted to have the correct info, It is a knock out I must admit. Love the name Blue Eyes. I am a huge Frank Sinatra fan, so it must be karma.
