David, your plant pics convinced me, my plant arrived yesterday. It looks like a tip cutting compared to yours but is flowering size ( I hope )

That's nice and dark, and that lip is just something special

I don't know how I missed this post. That plant is just amazing! Congratulation on such a well grown plant and on the award. Also, media do you have it planted in?

oh my! Your plant is stunning!
I must really be doing something wrong with mine, as it barely seems to grow...
Congratulations on a wonderfully grown and beautifully flowered plant. An award very well deserved!

Thanks to everyone for your kind remarks...they are always appreciated.

Roy and Naoki...good luck with your little ones...they will grow and flower if you're patient, hopefully sooner than later.

Wonderlen,
I grow mine right alongside my vandas in a small plastic basket (that's what it came in...and I can't even see it anymore with all the roots). It gets watered once every morning, except during the hotest part of the summer, when I water it again in the early afternoon. It gets fertilized once a week all year long...Dyna-gro at its fullest recommended strength along with a little superthrive. It gets 50% sun in my shade house.

Hi Steve...I don't use any media, just a small plastic basket it came in when I bought it.
