Default Renanthera monachica

First time bloomer.
This is a smaller species of this genus and it is a very slow grower.

Lovely spots. I love the colors.

Nothing special, just typical Vanda culture.

Mine is about 1' tall with 3 smaller keikis when I first bought it. Unfortunately, it shows no sign of ever flowering. Roots are growing well, broke few during transport. Growing it on my Vanda growing area together with Grammatophylum and Vanda hybrids. Well I am gonna keep my fingers crossed for this one.

Pshyched, it doesn't sound like you have had it for a long time. Be patient and it will bloom.

Yours sounds like a fantastic plant and that is a smart move to spend few extra $ and buy a blooming size plant(for this species). My plant now is about 7" tall. It did send out a basal growth last year and I wonder how long it will take to become BS.
