Default Three Vandaceous Awards

Here is my continuing story about my trip to the monthly AOS judging at the West Palm Beach center last Saturday.

I received a total of 5 awards! I couldn't believe it!!!

Here are photos of the 3 vandaceous plants that took awards, including the highest award I have yet to receive!
  1. Ascda. Suksamran Sunlight 'Maria Genovese' HCC/AOS, 77 points, named after my niece Maria.
  2. V. tessellata var. aurea 'Tara Scully' AM/AOS, 83 points, named after my niece and God daughter Tara.
  3. V. Amoena 'Sparky' AM/AOS, 86 points! This one is named after my closest friend and partner, Sparky! There are two photos showing the whole plant...I couldn't get the whole plant with the black background, but I wanted to show how big it was in its entirety.

Enjoy the photos!

David, you are surely becoming a force to be reckoned with...and we knew you when!

I'm so happy for you. The chids are lovely and that tessellata is spectacular!
