Could anyone indentify what this Ascda is?

Sorry, I can't tell you what it is but I like it. I like the yellow around the edges. Looks like sunshine around it.

Not sure its an Ascocenda. It looks like a primary hybrid Vanda with something like V.merrillii as one parent.
Very nice flower though.

Thank you for trying guys. As I posted on the other thread, this is a freebie when I purchased V. denisoniana and V. brunnea. She said, "Take it while it is blooming or I cannot sell it without the name."

When I look at the tag very closely, it said " Ascda XXXX Kenny x Ascda Red XXXXX."

Could also be another plant of what you bought. The tag isn't right either IMO.

Roy, it sure does look like V. merrillii cross. It is very waxy and shiny as well. No scent, though.

Not sure with Vandas, but hybrids can loose their scent. I know some V. hybrids don't but don't know if these do or if merrillii has a scent.
