Thank you that would be great for me and also how much light do they need ? my husband is trying to sort me out with a metal halide so will be some rearranging going on here if we can get one to work. Vandas are definately on my would like list If can get my conditions right, only trouble is I have nowhere to hang them so would have to be one that didnt mind being in a pot. |

Vanda caerulea likes medium to bright light and denisoniana bright light, Playtime! Mine are hanging, but I've seen here that several growers are well succeeded growing Vandas in pot. |

I really need to try some of these cooler-growing vandas. This one is very beautiful and has been said, like getting two flowers with one plant!

Beautiful Mauro!
There is a lot of variation in denisoniana color and form, but its distinct fiddle-shaped lip and heavenly night-time fragrance never fail to help identify this beauty.
On our own denisoniana, I always marvel at how the color deepens and the shape changes as the flower 'ripens'. Our starts out as the palest of yellow and nicely round flowers. As it matures, it turns to deep orange-yellow, lip juts forward and segments reflex. Looks like a yellow bird in flight. This is one of my favorites.
