Default Vanda Kultana Red

This is the famous Vanda Doctor Anek by Vanda Lumpini Red. The flowers are large and richly tesselated. The color in the photo is pretty much accurate, not red but sort of wine.

Nick, as you know, they need very bright light the year round and warm to hot temps except for Vanda caerulea which is a cold grower. So maybe you'd like to start with V. caerulea?

Hi Nick, I am in Ontario. I have my Vandas in West facing windows and they are doing great.

Depending on nightly temperatures (tonight it is expected to be around -24 to -30 due to wind chill) I move them off the windsills - love our Canadian winters

You should give them a try - Vandas are too beautiful not too.

Wow I didn't know you grew Vandas Mauro! Very beautiful! I've given up on Vandas after killing 3 of them. Cost me $140! I still don't know what I did sooooo wrong.
