This beauty was a gift from Jesse Rozanski (Rozanski's House of Orchids) a few months ago. I had no idea what it was going to look like. I think this is one of the waxiest-looking Vandas I have.

The plant itself is about a foot high, with about two feet of roots. The flowers are about 3 3/4"-4" in diameter. This appears to be it's second blooming since maturity. I took Jesse some pictures the other day, and he had some of this plant's siblings blooming in purple, also with very waxy flowers. They were beautiful!

Wow! I'm not usually a fan of the lighter reds and pinks, but this one I'd put in my collection without hesitation!

OH, it's beautiful. Now I would like to see one of the purple sibs.

I have one I'm watching every day. Each day it will open another flower. When I get 3 or 4 I'll post it.

Wow! Another beauty! Of my 15 or so vandas, none are blooming right now! I guess I do have three with spikes though. I will just have to keep admiring yours. This one looks like it should last awhile too. Good growing!
